Savute Elephant Camp
Situated on the banks of the dry Savute Channel, in the Savute region of Chobe National Park. Savute is an objective lesson in aridity as rain is rare and water is precious. You will find yourself in harmony with a unique timeless place, removed from city life. In Savute, you realise that previous little has changed on these dry plains since time began. The realisation dawns that you are fortunate and privileged to be in one of the last corners of the planet governed by nature.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is in luxury twin-bedded tents erected on private timber decks, all with views towards the Savute Channel. All are fitted with overhead fans and mosquito nets for summer, heaters and down quilts for winter. The tents are all en-suite with double hand basin, roomy shower, toilet and dressing area.
ACTIVITIES
Excursions take the form of game drives in specially constructed 4x4 vehicles.
