Moremi Crossing is a water- based camp and is situated on the southern point of Chief’s Island. Game walks, a boat cruise or mokoro ride allow you to get close to numerous animal species, not to mention a wide selection of birds and insects.
ACCOMMODATION
Luxury accommodation in 16 vintage-style safari tents, each with its own private wooden deck and magical views across the Boro River on to Chief’s Island. All Meru tents are large and airy with en suite bathrooms consisting of shower and loo.
ACTIVITIES
Time slows down at Moremi Crossing where you get the chance to experience the Okavango Delta and its game from a very different slower and closer perspective. Activities on offer are half or full day mokoro trips with game walks, bush walks with picnic lunch, wilderness camping and sunset motorboat cruises.
A variety of game spotted on walks may include lion, leopard, wild dog, elephant, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, red lechwe.
On the mokoros you are likely to encounter the water birds such as African Jacana, African Fish Eagle and a Malakite Kingfishers darting between the reeds; there is also a chance that your guide will find the rare Pel’s Fishing owl.

CHILD POLICY
Children are welcome 8 yrs and older at full adult rate. Younger children are accepted when reserving the entire camp. No mokoro and walking activities for children 11 yrs and younger.
