Young Explorers
The Ker & Downey Young Explorer's package is a specially designed safari offering families the opportunity to discover the wonders of the African wilderness together. Under the surface, however, you will discover that the Young Explorer's program is much more than a safari experience for families.
ACCOMMODATION
The Young Explorer’s in the delta is based at Footsteps Camp, an intimate six bedded camp in the Shinde private concession whilst in the Kalahari it is based at Edo’s Camp, a private eight bedded camp on a game conservancy in the western Kalahari.
ACTIVITIES
All activities are tailored around the children’s ages, including nature walks, tracking, bush craft, bird and animal identification as well as cooking. At the end, each child is rewarded with a certificate of completion and gift.
RATES INCLUDE:
Rates are fully inclusive of accommodation, all meals and drinks.
CHILD POLICY
Not open to children under the age of seven (although exceptions can be made).
